You should always be pretty well aware of the major releases coming to DVD. Comedy movies are no exception, and it seems that, as of late, there have been several different comedy movies that have made an impact. One of these movies would most certainly be "Hot Tub Time Machine" for many different reasons.
You should look to this particular article to give you a good introduction to this particular film in a couple of different ways. One of these ways will be through giving you the names of some of the finest talent in the film. Another and more prominent way for the sake of this particular article will be the plot synopsis. This won't really contain any spoilers, so if you haven't seen the film, you can still get a more detailed look at what happens.
This film centers around a group of friends that have really been much of anything but lately. Life has passed all of them by and left nothing to really show for all the time that they have been here. Each of them believes that if they could have just done something differently, everything could have been better. The main characters are Adam (John Cusack), Lou (Rob Corddry), and Nick (Craig Robinson).
Lou decides after a night of drinking to attempt to kill himself by leaving his car running with him inside while in the garage. Next thing you know, Adam and Nick find themselves at the hospital trying to figure out how so much space and time got between all of them. They commit that they are going to go on a trip to one of their childhood hot spots, the Kodiak Valley Ski Resort.
While they are there, they realize that things just simply are not what they used to be at all. They decide to take a dip in the hot tub, and next thing they know they are in a strangely familiar environment. It does not take them long to learn that they have traveled back to the eighties. Not only this, but they look like they did when they were in the eighties to everyone else.
The hilarity ensues when the group decides that for the sake of not messing up the future, they would have to relive everything that they had undergone back in the eighties on the trip they appear to be reliving. So this means different things for different characters. One will have to break up with his perfect girlfriend all over again, another will have to get beaten up, and another will have to cheat on his wife (even though technically he wasn't married then).
There is a lot of ridiculousness that ensues after this, as they reach a point where none of them are able to follow things to a tee. While they might have lived more of Winterfest '86 than they did in the past, they also have learned a lot more about themselves in the process.
Hot Tub Time Machine is a movie that is ideal for anyone that can handle crude humor and a truckload of eighties references. Everything about the eighties all rolled up into one hilarious film. - 40726

Looking for that special movie that would take you down "memory lane"' Rent Movies Beyond his endless innuendos, Masuka has a habit of making the oddest remarks in serious situations. He called himself a leader, yet did some of his best work alone.
