(90 minutes, 1997)

Deliverance, This really is an excellent re-creation of the Dickey novel of 4 Atlanta businessmen who get more than they are able to handle within a weekend canoe trip. McKinney and Coward are 2 of the very most appalling motion picture scoundrels in history. The "Dueling Banjos" scene is very memorable. Motion picture debuts of Beatty and Cox. James Dickey modified his own novel, and appears in the movie as a sheriff. Ed O'Neill looks like a freeway watcher close to the end of motion picture.
