Could A Clean Comedian Turn Out To Be Amusing At All

By Erin Garcia

A good clean comedian, often known as a family-friendly comic, is one that stays away from offensive material along with profanity. A good solid clean comedian is not hard to find, they are simply not as easy to find as more edgy comics. When shopping for corporate event comedy, it is advisable to find an act which is both clean and experienced in front of corporate crowds. You're paying not only for the actual show, but for satisfaction. After all, when the performer offends your crowd, this makes you look bad.

Many clean comedians have wowed audiences all over America with a high-energy combination of entertaining stand-up comedy along with outrageous impressions. Their 100% clean presentation speaks to all ages and backgrounds. Some comic's greatest strength is definitely their proficiency to customize their show for each and every crowd. These people work very closely with the actual presenter in order to collect information and then very easily turn the material into a one-of-a-kind interactive performance.

Although the loud, bombastic, and potty-mouth comics seem to obtain the most publicity, it should also be mentioned that clean comedians are also finding popularity in the world of entertainment. Their core audience has traditionally been in company excursions and conventions. However, these days we can easily come across these non-vulgar talents more and more prevalent in "well-known" areas such as Television and nightclubs. And of course they continue to do well within small, conventional markets just like class reunions, church groups, etc. In fact, this trend toward the mainstream has been somewhat forced by the economic problems running rampant in the business world. Many top-flight clean comedy acts have felt the crunch of corporate cutbacks in spending for non-essential employee benefits. Hiring a comic, for example, to provide a motivational talk at a conference seems to be categorized as non-essential by executives. It's refreshing to see these comedians locate new outlets for their talents.

You need an act with wide appeal that will not offend anyone in the audience. There are thousands of club entertainers across the country, however merely a handful that can do a clean, corporate show. Don't forget: You are not only spending money on the jokes they tell -- you are paying for the antics they don't tell. Some things are usually funny and some things just aren't! Have you ever gone to a comedy show and felt ashamed by the base and crude humor that's spewing from the mouth of the comedian?

A clean comedian normally takes daily scenarios in which we are all familiar with, and applies that simple clean humorous perspective to them, showing us it is enjoyable to actually laugh at ourselves. Sometimes a scenario that's brewing can be defused by letting your sense of humor to shine. A good laugh can easily mend fences as well. We take ourselves entirely too seriously sometimes. How relaxing it could be to lighten the burdens that we face, by getting some real perspective, and taking a moment to simply laugh. Regardless of what is pressing inside your mind, or exactly what trials you might be facing, a small amount of laughter seems to take you away and transcend you to another plane of thought, even if it is only for a short time. - 40726
